What Information Do We Collect?
On first making an enquiry, we may collect your name and telephone number or email address to enable us to respond to your query. We may need to pass this on to the therapist/practitioner that you have requested contact with and to make the appointment. If you do not proceed, the information will be destroyed. Once you have attended your first appointment, your therapist becomes the controller of this information and is responsible for protecting your data.
We do not control any data, but we do store data for some therapists/practitioners. In these cases we have a contract with the therapist/practitioner assuring them that we are fully compliant with the latest GDPR requirements.
Marketing
The only reason that we may control any personal data from you, is with your consent.
3-4 times every year, we send out a newsletter, with special offers, information on new services or practitioners, and general news items. We will ask you for your consent before adding your email address to our list, and it is entirely up to you whether you think this will be of interest to you. If you agree, and later change your mind, you will be able to unsubscribe easily.
We use Mailchimp to send our newsletters, but have opted out of letting them use cookies from third parties to collect your data.
Your Rights
As we process your personal data, you have a right of access, a right of rectification, a right of erasure and a right to restrict processing.
Other Websites
This website has some links to other websites, but this Privacy Policy only applies to this website. When you link to another website, you should read their own privacy policy.
Data Breaches
Should your personal data that we control be lost, stolen or otherwise breached, where this constitutes a high risk to your rights and freedoms, we will contact you without delay.
Should You Wish to Complain
You can contact the ICO via their website: www.ico.org.uk should you wish to make a complaint about the way we are processing your personal data.
Automated Decision Making and Profiling
We do not use any system which uses automated decision making or profiling in respect of your personal data.
